Pregnancy & postnatal

Our bodies are just AMAZING. I'm so in awe of my own body having grown and nourished my 3 babies.

And it takes a lot! There are huge loads placed on our body during pregnancy and into motherhood. Coping physically through this time requires adaptability. If our body can easily adapt to the postural changes, centre of gravity shifts, soft tissue adaptation and increased loads, we will be more comfortable, stronger and feel better. Being able to adapt requires movement - our body needs to move well, be balanced and supple.

That is my job. Supporting your body to move well, encourage balance and optimal function.

I teach women my BUMPS formula. This empowers them with the knowledge and skills to take control and have a more enjoyable pregnancy and birth experience. READ MORE HERE

I have experience helping:

  • Pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain

  • Lower back pain and sciatic pain

  • Neck, jaw, shoulder pain, headaches

  • Trunk related dysfunction (thoracic spine and ribs)

  • Ligament pain including round ligament

  • Fetal malposition including BREECH and posterior presentation (knowledge in Webster techniques, Spinning Babies and Optimal Maternal Positioning)

  • Diastasis Recti, abdominal wall and pelvic floor related dysfunction

  • Preparing the body for labour by body balancing and encouraging suppleness and responsiveness in soft tissues. (This means less resistance for the baby during the labour process - that is, an easier birth!)
